Law is equal for all | Story for Kids

Story for kids

The emperor was a very fair ruler.  He had spent an hour at the entrance of his palace.  Anyone who complained could have played the hour so that the emperor could do justice to the voice.  In his state, the poor-rich, small-big were judged the most.  In the eyes of the emperor, the law was equal for all.  The emperor used to do justice to all by punishing the offender and forgiving the innocent.  Many people used to bring their complaints to the court of emperor for justice.

Noor Jahan, wife of the Emperor, was practicing archery one day.  Nur Jahan shot arrows only at a few selected marks.  While practicing, an arrow Nur Jahan drove in the air and went towards the river, which fell there.  After this Nur Jahan returned to his palace.

After some time, the bell at the entrance of the palace started ringing loudly.  The watchman saw that a washerman was crying with sobs.  He had a dead body placed on the ground and a blood-stained arrow in his hand.  The guard took the dish to the emperor.  Dhoban saluted the emperor and started crying for justice.  Showing the arrow to the Emperor, he said - 'Huzoor, with this arrow someone has killed my husband, made me a widow and my children an orphan.  Now who will take care of me and my children?  The Emperor raised the arrow and saw that it had a royal seal on it.  The Emperor understood that surely a person from a palace had executed this sad incident.  He ordered the guard who was practicing archery on the day the incident happened?  After getting the order of the king, the guard went to the palace and the truth-seeker came back shortly and said - 'Huzoor, that day Begum Sahiba was practicing archery.'  The emperor immediately invited Nur Jahan to the court.  As soon as

When Nur Jahan appeared in the court, the emperor took a knife from his waistband and gave it to Dhoban, saying, "You are widowed because of Nur Jahan, so you kill me with this knife and widen Nur Jahan."  By doing this you will get justice.  On hearing the Emperor's justice, Dhoban was very ashamed and said - 'Huzoor, my husband will not be alive by killing you.  Then how can I commit the sin of killing a justified emperor like you? '  On hearing Dhoban, the emperor was overjoyed and provided him financial assistance from the state treasury.  Dhoban went to her house with financial help thanking the emperor.

After Dhoban's departure, Nur Jahan said to the emperor, "You really took a lot of danger."  If that woman had followed your order, it would have been a huge disaster.  The Emperor said, "If I had died, the woman would have got justice."  One thing must be remembered, law is equal for all.

Education - From this story we get an education that in the eyes of law, there is no big or small but all are equal.

Wazir decides to kill Karinde's son.  Wazir asked Karinde's son to bring a meat with handkerchief and money.  Wazir explained well to Karinde's son that he should be brought from the street corner shop in Gosht Bazaar.  Karinde's son took the handkerchief and money and went towards the market.  He saw that his friend Wazir's son is also playing there.  The wazir's boy told Karinde's son that you play my bet, I will go and get meat.  Karinde's son gave him the address of the shop by giving him money and a handkerchief.  Thus Wazir's son went to take meat and Karinde's son started playing bets.  Wazir's son gave money and handkerchief to the shopkeeper and asked him to tie meat.  The butcher recognized the mark made in the handkerchief.  Wazir showed this butcher to the butcher and said that the boy who came to take meat on this handkerchief, you should kill him.  Wazir also gave the butcher money to kill Karinde's son.  The butcher had already done all the preparations by burning a furnace inside.

The butcher took the handkerchief and money and asked the boy to sit there and went to get meat inside himself.  Then the boy also went there.  The butcher immediately picked up the boy and poured it into the burning furnace.  Karinde's son was playing his bet on his way home that he found a wazir on the way.  Karinde's son asked "Chacha, Bhaiya brought meat?"  Wazir was aghast after hearing this.  Then Karinde's son said - Uncle Bhaiya had taken a handkerchief and money from me and said that you play my bet, I will go home with meat.  I had also told the address of the shop to Bhaiya.  There was darkness in front of Wazir's eyes and not a word came out of his mouth.  Remembering his son, Wazir went to his house.  The wazir was saying that anyone who digs a well for others falls into it.
