Lazy is Bad | Story for Kids

Two pigeons lived on a tree tree - Fudku and Gutru.  Gutru was very hardworking.  While Fudaku was very lazy.  Fudku used to sleep throughout the day, and Gutru kept sitting eyeing the things he brought from outside to eat.  Gutaru would have pity and would have given Fudaku a little something to eat.  This was the way Fudaku lived.

Before the rainy season, Gutaru would collect the straws and make a beautiful nest and would have fun in the rainy season.  When Fudku used to get wet, he used to keep looking at Gutru while doing Gutaru.  Gutru would have pity again, he would sit in his nest somehow.

When Gutru would ask Fudaku why he too could not build a similar nest for himself, he would make some excuse and avoid it and enter the Gutru's nest as usual every time it rains.  In this way, Fudku continued his work without diligence and Gutaru worked hard day and night.

One day a bird came to live on the same tree and was very happy to find Gutru and Fudaku with him.

A few days later, Gutru told the bird his problem, then the bird said - "The fault of the spit is working, you have more".  "How?"  Gutru asked in surprise.  "You have spoiled his habit. Why do you allow him to share his food and stay in his nest?"  The bird asked.

"If I don't give him food, that poor poor will die hungry."  The bird said "how will you die"?  Can't he go and get his food himself?  "Can gather."  Gutru nodded his head.

"Then why do you give him food? If you stop giving him food, you will eat very hard."  Chidiya explained to him.

Gutru understood the point of the bird and he did as the bird had explained.

The lazy Fudu sat for two days, hoping that Gutaru might give him something to eat.  When there was no food to be found on the third day, he went out in search of food himself and came back with food.  Gutru was very happy to see Chidiya's understanding.  Now his own food used to last for two days.  Gutru did the same in case of nesting when the rainy season comes.

When the lazy Fudaku had to spend the entire rain without getting drenched by the nest, the next year he also prepared a nest for himself before the rain came.

Now he too had become hardworking.  Then one day the bird said to Gutru, "Look! By giving food and helping unnecessarily, you have spoiled his habit."

Gutru nodded in agreement and set out to find straws for his nest.

Education: Lazy people should not help, this increases their laziness and they stop toiling.
