White elephant story , Story for Kids

In the dense forests of the Himalayas, there were once two distinct species of white elephants - the Chadant and the Upasath.  The elusive elephants were white in color and had six tusks.  (This is mentioned in Pali literature.) The king of elusive elephants lived in a Kanchan cave.  His forehead and feet were red and shiny like rubies.  She had two queens - Mahasubhadda and Chullasubhadda.

There was a day when elephants and her queens were playing water in a lake with their slaves.  There was also a year-old tree full of flowers on the banks of the lake.  The elephant shook a branch of the Sal tree with its trunk in the game.  Coincidentally, the flowers and pollen of the tree covered Mahasubhadda.  But the dry twigs and flowers of the tree fell on the chullasubhadda.  Chullasubhadda considered the incident as a coincidence, not a humiliation.  Angry Chullasubhadda left her husband and her residence at the same time and went somewhere.  So despite the untiring efforts of Chadantraj, she was not found anywhere.

Later, Chullasubhadda died and became the princess of the Madd kingdom and after marriage, Varanasi's queen.  But her sadness and anger towards Chaddantraj was so strong that even after rebirth she kept burning in the fire of vengeance.  On a favorable occasion, he encouraged the king to obtain Chadantraj's teeth.  As a result, the king created a team of skilled Nishad whose leader made Sonusad for the purpose.

After seven years, seven months and seven days, Sonusad reached the residence of Chaddantraj.  Sonushv dug a pit there and covered it with wood and leaves.  Then he quietly hid in a clump of trees.  When Chaddantraj came close to that pit, Sonusad fired a poisoned arrow at him.  When Chadant, who was wounded by the arrow, saw Sonushud hidden in the clump with a bow in his hand, he ran to kill him.  But Sonusad was wearing ocher vest of ascetics, due to which the elephant donated life to Nishad.  On being begged of his life, Sonusud changed his heart.  Bhava - Vihmaval Sonusad told Chaddant all the things why he came there for the purpose of getting his teeth.

Since the strong teeth of Cuddhunt could not be bitten by Sonud, so before death, Chhadunt himself cut his teeth with his trunk and gave it to Sonude.

On returning to Varanasi, when Sonush showed Chhadant's teeth to the queen, the queen could not handle the trauma of Chaddant's death and died instantly.

Once someone caught two parrot brothers and gave them to a king.  Pleased with the qualities and color of parrots, the king placed them in a gold cage, got them properly treated and kept eating honey and roasted maize every day.  Among those parrots, the elder's name was Radha and the younger's name was Pottapad.

One day a forest dweller was presented to the king by a black, a langur with terrible big hands.  That langur of the Gibbon species was generally a rare creature.  That's why people would break up to see that strange creature.  With the arrival of the langur, people's attraction towards parrots diminished;  And their government too.

Pottapada, feeling disenchanted with the changing attitude of the people, started feeling humiliated and in the night he told his heartache to Radha.  Radha consoled her younger brother, explaining, brother!  Do not worry!  Virtues are worshiped everywhere.  Soon the qualities of this langur will be revealed to the world and then people will be alienated from it.

This happened after a few days, when the little prince wanted to play with that langur, the langur tore his terrible face, bitting his teeth and scared him so loudly that he started crying.  When the fear and cry of the children came to the ears of the king, he immediately rescued the langur in the forest.

From that day onwards Radha and Pottapad's hospitality continued to reverberate.

One day he was walking for alms wearing the same dress.  On the way he found a big wild sheep.  The sheep went backwards and shook his head and lowered him.  The monk understood that he certainly wanted to bow down and greet him, because he was a superior monk;  Who had leather clothes.

Just then a businessman from afar warned the monk and said: O Brahmin!  Do not believe any animal;  Are made;  Even after going after your fall, they turn back and attack.
