Moving forward | Story for Kids
There used to be a very hardworking and honest woodcutter in Vikaspur village. He used to cut wood all day and bring it to the village in the evening and sell it. He used to get up early in the morning to cut wood and return home only when the sun set. Neither sees sun, nor rain, nor disease, nor rest. Her bones had come out due to hard work. He was weakened.
One day he was cutting wood in the hardworking and honest woodcutter forest. He found a monk there. Seeing the condition of the woodcutter, the monk took pity on him. He said to the woodcutter, "Go ahead." Saying this, the monk went away. The woodcutter did not stop. He went on. On his way, he reached the dense forest. There he saw countless sandalwood trees. Now he started chopping sandalwood. Sandalwood is expensive. So they started getting more money, many times more than before. His condition improved. A few days later the woodcutter thought - The monk had said, "Go ahead." Why don't I move on?

Now he kept bringing as much copper as he could from the copper mine. He would get a lot of money by selling copper. The woodcutter's condition got better day by day. After some days, it came to his mind that the monk had told me to keep moving forward. Why not move a bit further? On proceeding he found a silver mine. He returned home with as much silver as he could bring. The woodcutter became rich while watching.

Teachings of nanak | Story for Kids
Once Guru Nanak went out on a journey with his disciples. While crossing the city, he reached a village where the people were very evil. He did not respect anyone. He did not even listen to the teachings of Guru Nanak. In this village he neither got a place to stay nor food - water.
While leaving the village, Guru Nanak said, "Oh God! Let this village be inhabited like this." 'Mardana' was the main disciple of Guru Nanak. He was very surprised to hear this, but he did not say anything. Moving forward, they reached another village. The people of that village were very polite. There was bhajan-kirtan from house to house. People there considered the guests to be gods. There Nanak Dev ji and his disciples were given a grand welcome. After meals and rest, everyone listened to Nanak Ji's teachings. He pledged to follow these teachings.
While walking through that village, Guru Nanak said, O Lord! This village should be destroyed soon and the people here go away. "Mardana was surprised to hear this. Now he could not stop his curiosity. He asked Nanak ji," Gurudev. Why did you curse the people of this village? He has warmly welcomed you. You have blessed the people of that village where you have been insulted and you have not even been asked for food. Why did you do it ?
"Guru Nanak Ji said," I have said all this while thinking afar. It is not a secret. When I blessed the bad village to be inhabited, I wished that the evil should be confined to that village, not spread anywhere else. Cursed to destroy the other village so that the people here spread far and wide and spread peace wherever they go. What I meant to say was that the end of evil should end in that place and good spread far and wide.
Message: - The evil should stop before it spreads and the good should be spread more and more.
