An incident happened with Gajraj on the Trikuta mountain

In Kshirsagar there was a famous and superior mountain called Trikuta.

His height touched the sky.  Its length-width was also quite wide all around.

He had three peaks.  First is gold.  The second silver and the third iron.

The sea, the sky and the directions were shining with their brightness.  Apart from these, he had many other small peaks which were made of gems and precious metals.

A variety of wild animals roamed the mountain foothills.

There were also many rivers and ponds over it.

There lived an ascetic Mahatma named Varuna in the valley of this mountain Trikuta.

Mahatma Varuna built his hut in a very beautiful garden.  The name of this garden was Rituman.

In this, very divine trees were being adorned everywhere, who were always laden with fruits and flowers.

There was also a large lake in this garden in which golden lotuses also bloomed.

Once from Kshirsagar on the Trikuta mountain, a traumatic incident occurred.

In the thick forest of this mountain, there lived a huge stoned elephant.  One - Gajraj.  He was the head of many powerful elephants.

He was followed by herds of big elephants.

From this gajraj, due to his great strength, even the most violent animals were afraid, small creatures roamed fearlessly because no violent animal could dare to attack him.

Gajraj was mad  The bunches used to echo with him to get the item dripping from near his head.

One day it was very sunny.  He became distraught with thirst.  With his flock, he landed in the same lake which was located in the valley of Trikuta.

The water was very cold and sweet like nectar at that time.

At first, that Gajraj filled his trunk and filled it with water and drank this nectar-like water.  Then bathing in it eased my fatigue.

After this, his attention turned to water sports.  He started throwing water from the trunk all over the other elephants and others started doing the same.

Madmaj Gajraj forgot everything and enjoyed the water sports.  He did not know that there was also a very strong customer in that lake.

The Graha got angry and grabbed the feet of that Gajraj with a lot and started pulling it into the lake.

Due to his sharp teeth, blood flow came out from the feet of Gajraj due to which the water there became red.

The elephants and elephants accompanying him were very much concerned about this situation of Gajraj.

Together they tried to pull Gajraj out of the water but they did not succeed in it.

They started chirping loudly.  On this, several herds of elephants coming from far and wide, together with the herds of Gajraj tried to pull it out, but this concerted effort also failed.

All the elephants fell silently and separated.  Now a fierce war started in Graha and Gajraj, both were quite powerful in their form and were not going to give up.

Sometimes Gajraj would drag Graha out of the water, sometimes Graha would drag Gajraj into the water.

But Gajraj's foot was not missing from the mouth of the graha in any way, but his teeth were going further into Gajraj's feet and the water of the lake became completely red.

The war between Gaz and Graha lasted for several days.  Finally, due to excess blood flow, Gajraj started to relax.  He felt that now he would be defeated by the Graha.

He did not think of any solution at this time and after getting near his death, he remembered Lord Narayana.

He broke a lotus flower and raised it towards the sky as if he was offering it to God.

By now he had gone into the deep water in the middle of the lake due to being pulled by the Graha and only the part of his trunk left in which he held the red lotus flower.

He called Narayan by completely forgetting his power and declaring himself completely helpless.

God understood that it kept going with its power and it is completely my refuge.

When Narayana saw that he did not consider anyone to be his protector other than me, with the utterance of Narayan's 'Na', he rode on Garun and reached the banks of the lake holding the circle.

He saw that Gajendra was about to drown.  He quickly jumped from the eagle.

By this time, many Gods and Goddesses were present there, considering the arrival of God.

Seeing everyone, God pulled Gajraj and Gajendra out of the lake in a moment.

The gods looked on with surprise, they tore Sudarshan's face in such a way that no damage was done to Gajraj's leg.

On seeing the graha, he died in agony and Gajraj became healthy as before by the grace of God.

While Gajendra was praising Srinarayan, the gods present at the lake were talking among themselves about the merciful nature of God.

One of them rightly said- 'As long as you believe in your power, God does not help.  When you find yourself completely despised, go to the shelter of God only then he immediately protects you.
